At ProcessServerNearMe we are looking for established professionals to fill roles in serving, document filing, document retrieval, courier delivery, and search & locate services, and we are also looking for those who are new to this industry but who feel they are interested and available.

You will need to go through our company on-boarding process which includes background checks.
Working with us could be a full-time opportunity or could complement your other work assignments.

What are the job requirements?
As a Process Server, you will need the tools of the trade which include a valid driver’s license, liability auto insurance, reliable transportation, smartphone, and printer.
How long does the process take?
On average our onboarding process takes between 3-5 days. This includes filling out forms, taking our process server orientation course and submitting a background check and Identification.
What will I be doing?
As a process server, you will receive documents and “serve” them on the named parties in litigation. This involves knocking on doors of homes or addresses we provide to you, gathering information, and providing the documents to the named individual whenever able.
How will I receive documents?
For most requests, we will provide you with soft copies of documents, and as the process server, you will be required to print them from your home or office. In some instances, we will need to mail original documents to your home (only when needed).
What is the dress code?
It is wise to represent yourself and our company respectfully. Dressing in business casual attire will only increase your odds of success. Think about how your dress and what the impact this will have on someone on the other side of the door you are knocking on.
Do I need an office?
The short answer is NO! Many of our Process Server partners work out of a home-based office and have no need to go to an office every day.
How much will you pay me?
We pay per job “completion” – meaning pay is processed once a job is completed and the proof of service/non-service has been signed and delivered. Sometimes multiple attempts are required at the same address if you are unable to reach the party.
How does contracting work?
As a contractor with ProcessServerNearMe, you will have the ability to work independently and set your own schedule. We issue a T4A for tax purposes or we can pay invoices to a company account.
